A few kind words from previous clients...

Working with Anna was a dream come true. She created the most stunning arrangements, which were completely breathtaking. The result of her hard work was beyond anything we could have imagined - natural, sustainable and deeply personal. Our guests kept telling us how incredible the flowers looked and we couldn't agree more. Anna brought our vision to life with such care and creativity. A dream from start to finish. We couldn't recommend her more.

A beautiful editorial shoot which brought together a wealth of creativity and industry experts.
The florals for this were inspired by the surrounding landscape. Next door to Greyfriars is @charlespalmervineyards whose vineyards are surrounded by small streams lined with grasses & reeds. Wild and untamed in stark contrast to the formality of the vines stretching across the fields in neat rows as far as the eye can see. And then to Greyfriars itself whose gardens have been lovingly restored by the owners in recent years, uncovering long forgotten statues, hundreds of rose bushes, stunning trees and shrubs all with the back drop of the stunning house and the incredible ruins. I’m pretty sure those two places alone are enough to inspire endless floral creativity.
There’s so much more I can’t wait to share from this project. But for now here’s what outdoor dining at Greyfriars can look like. The scale, drama and beauty of this place is jaw dropping. It was such a pleasure to have the opportunity to be given freedom to create at such a special place.

When something catches your eye and inspires you to create.

Always inspired by nature, paying close attention to little details & trying to keep playful, inquisitive & experiment often to keep those creative juices flowing. Even if it’s just a small bowl it’s still enough to play with colour palettes or just practicing using what you have to hand. Very happy this mocha rose is still giving me blooms to enjoy. It’s been magnificent all season which I can’t say for a lot of the plants. In fact it’s still has so many buds on. The gift that keeps on giving. This is the last of the dahlias for this year now. The cosmos is still giving out so many flowers though as is the Apple of Peru. What’s still flowering for you that shouldn’t be?

When Dale & I had our first consultation I knew instantly that she would be a dream client. Anyone that says they want to be surrounded by beautiful seasonal wild flowers is a winner for me. Dale already had quite a clear vision of the style and vibe she was after. She wasn’t fussed on which exact flowers I used or any particular detail. She put her trust in me, knowing I had worked @wickerwoodweddings many times and had a deep understanding of what works there. Weaving what the venue needs to really come alive for an event of this size with what Dale dreamed for her big day was the sweet spot. Trusting me to find that allows the sprinkling of magic to happen.
So for now, here are a few beautiful images of the bridal flowers and Dale preparing for her magical day.
Thank you Dale for being the dream client. And Pete too ofcourse! 💞
More to share soon from this truly fairly tale woodland wedding soon.

A moment for Jess & Jamie who got married back in August 🌸💞💛

The rain poured the morning of their wedding but as you can see from the photos it cleared for photos outside with beautiful smiles and happy faces all round. I’m good friends with Jess’ mum so creating these flowers felt even more special for me.
They got married in the beautiful and very old Mountfield Church in East Sussex with some really pretty seasonal locally grown blooms. Thanks @dawn_mf1 for asking me to be part of Jess & Jamie’s beautiful day & congratulations again to Jess & Jamie💞

When the power went out at the weekend I had a choice. Do chores or play with leftover flowers. I started with the chores but got distracted by the flowers. No surprises there! The lack of any phone signal or wifi meant I could have a play with my camera settings too. Not something I often get time to do. Results are in and out of a lot of photos and videos these are the few I whittled it down to. Swipe through to see the making of the arrangement. Loving the mustard tones in this one 💛 Just need a cool bar for it to sit on. It’s a bit massive!

I’m definitely here for Autumn 🧡 But not for these storms! It’s really horrid out there today. I wouldn’t normally post now but I’m stuck inside avoiding doing chores! Hopefully you’re wrapped up under a blanket with a hot chocolate and a good movie on?

My Christmas wreath designs and pre order will be released at the beginning of November. I make a limited number so if you are considering ordering I’d get in quick when they launch before I close my books. Quite a lot of you have already asked to be sent the link to order as soon as it’s available. If you’d like to be sent it too then dm me and I’ll add you to the list. Until then, hunker down in the storm and hopefully they’ll be a few leaves left afterwards to make a few more Autumn wreaths before we start on Christmas.
